Olecranon Fracture Open Reduction Internal Fixation

This patient sustained a displaced and unstable olecranon fracture (red arrow) as well as a minimally displaced coronoid fracture (blue arrow) and a marginal, mildly displaced radial head fracture (green arrow).  Despite these fractures, the elbow joint generally remained reduced.

The olecranon fracture was reduced and stabilized with a plate and screw construct and the other two fractures treated non-operatively.  Protected motion was initiated early and the patient recovered with full painless range of motion.
